Recently Ruidoso was named the fifth best place to live in New Mexico! I knew, I have enjoyed living in Ruidoso since moving here in 1992, and since that time I have observed and been a part of some changes. Specifically, The Health and Wellness Community has continued to grow and has become more vital and vibrant. High Mesa Healing Center has been an integral part of supporting the network of co-operative practitioners as we all continue to build a strong network of healers to provide health and wellness to this community and beyond.

One way High Mesa has supported this network of practitioners and energy workers in our Ruidoso/ Alto area is to open our doors to allow these talented people to showcase their talents. Therefore we have powerful and varied workshops happening each month. For example this month we begin a series of sound workshops. In these workshops we will be using sound vibration to move energy through our bodies. Moving energy through stuck places bringing energy and healing to those places, resulting in better movement and feeling. If you are a healer we invite you to come visit. We are at the foot of Sierra Blanca, our sacred mountain. High Mesa Healing Center is nestled, surrounded by forty acres of forest land that we share with the original inhabitants, the wildlife that calls this place home. It is our intention to share this space and live in harmony with nature. Come and visit us and our wilderness, see our friends the deer, elk, wild turkeys, ravens, eagles, and others, they are all waiting for you. In this sacred space we invite you to walk the Labyrinth in meditation. Attend a Full Moon ceremony that includes a Drumming Circle or a Sound Healing workshop. And certainly get a session with our founder, Barbara Mader. Barbara has been doing energy work for more than 30 years and is a Reiki Master, Healing Touch Practitioner, she is skilled in the Hopi Back technique, flower residues, Crystal Healing, and others. After your session you will want to relax with a cup of tea, browse our book store, we are the largest holistic book store in the area, as you leave you will be embraced by nature in all it’s splendor.
